The story starts in the court, when Father Moore who is a priest being charged for murdering a girl named Emily Rose. The confession of Father Moore was Emily Rose death because of a demon possessed her. However, the people have different point of view. They assume that the real Emily Rose death because of Epilepsy syndrome and need to be medicated. The approach of Father Moore was through religious concept, which is exorcism, and regarded as an absurd and ridiculous ways.
Father Moore take an advance step, he advised Emily to stop the medical treatment, as the medical treatment is the one making it worse. Erin Bruner, as an attorney an ambitious agnostic. He saw that the defense of Father Moore have a big probability to win the case. Therefore Erin Bruner approached Father Moore and offered to be his lawyer. However there is one condition, that he should be allowed to give testimony which clearly and fully about what really happened to Emily Rose.
As I can see from this movie, those who played as Emily Rose was marvelous.. she acted and she really feels it. As if the actor was really possessed. Every time Emily shouts and possessed in the movie, it never fails to make me goose bumps. Moreover when the ending did not tell what actually happened to Emily Rose, I find some research on it and the freaky facts about this true story movie, is up to now people still don’t know what really happened to Emily Rose.
I've seen this movie and sorry but it is not that good as some people say. the original will always be #1.
